About Strandards Committee


The Standards Committee was established in 2018, to promote the creation of new standards and criterias in Georgia, as well as to adapt the international criteria for the Tourism Market.

The main purpose is to assist the country to increase Service Quality and to promote the Sustainable Development of Tourism in Georgia.


Main activities of Standards Committee:

  • Planning the Conferences in thematic issues;
  • Involvement in the development of Covid 19 regulations;
  • Organizing training and workshops for the staff employed in the tourism sector;
  • Organizing targeted conferences (standards for tour operators, standards for guides, standards for hotels);
  • Introduction of new standards and regulations in the field of tourism for small organizations;
  • Information Campaign of Standards.
