List of Implemented Projects of GTA

  • ,,Support for Georgian in the field of Protected Area development" Project was implemented 5 protected areas (Mtirala National Park, Kolkheti National Park, Tbilisi National Park, Lagodekhi National Reserve, Vashlovani National Park) and was created nine new tourist products. 2013-2014. The project was supported by UNWTO. 
  • “Enhancing Sustainability of Tourism Development in Protected Areas of Georgia/” The program was supported by BP on behalf of its OIL and Gas Co-Ventures, HSBC and Eurasia Partnership Foundation. The project was carried out in cooperation with the Agency of Protected Areas (APA).
  • Vardzia Adventure Race 2010 The project was supported by Department of Tourism and Resorts of Georgia, Sport Shop “Magelani”, “Geoland”, “Natkhtari” and “ABC Group”.
  • Cycle Race: Gudauri – Tbilisi On the 2nd of May. 2010 The project was supported by Department of Tourism and Resorts of Georgia, Hotel Gudauri and Sport Shop “Magelani”.
  • Vardzia Adventure Race 2009 The project was supported by SDC – Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation
  • Caucasus Tourism Fair (CTF) 2009 Symposium: “Country & Regional Branding for Tourism” April, 4th 2009.
  • “Market-Oriented Sustainable Tourism Development in Protected Areas of Georgia” March 23. 2009 – October 22. 2009 The program was supported by BP on behalf of its Oil and Gas co-partners and Eurasia Partnership Foundation. The project was carried out in cooperation with the Agency of Protected Areas (APA).
  • Creation of Video-clips for the region Samtskhe-Javakheti 25.12.2008 – 31.07.2009 The program was supported by GIZ
  • International Online Hotel Booking System March-July 2008 A project in cooperation with USAID’s SME support Project.
  • Caucasus Tourism Fair (CTF) April 2008 GTA participated at Caucasus Fair (CTF) with Association Stand together with partner associations from Adjara and Guria. The activity was supported by GIZ Private Development project, 10-12 of April.
